QuikStor Integrates RM Technology From Veritec Solutions
QuikStor, a provider of software and security technology for the self-storage industry, has integrated its property-management software with Veritec Solutions’ revenue-management platform, giving operators direct access to data-driven pricing tools within their existing operating system. Through the integration, QuikStor customers can use Veritec’s cloud-based technology to make pricing decisions based on market conditions, competitive positioning and tenant behavior, according to the companies.
The system provides starting-rate guidance for new move-ins based on current market conditions and competitor pricing. It also offers rent-increase recommendations for existing tenants designed to balance revenue growth with the potential impact on retention at each facility.
Additional capabilities include promotional pricing recommendations that identify incentives for specific units and market conditions while considering long-term revenue. Veritec’s patented “good, better, best” pricing model allows operators to differentiate dynamically among available units.
Operators also can measure the financial impact of pricing strategies, allowing them to evaluate results and refine future decisions. The platform incorporates daily competitive pricing data gathered automatically from competitor websites into its recommendations.
“QuikStor was built to give operators integrated access to the tools the industry's best operators use," said Tony Gardner, vice president of QuikStor. “Adding Veritec’s revenue-management system to the QuikStor ecosystem is a natural extension of that commitment. Operators who price with precision will be the ones who win in this competitive market, and now every QuikStor customer has the ability to do just that.”
“This integration gives operators another powerful way to optimize revenue while providing customers with meaningful choices through [value] pricing,” said Dr. Warren Lieberman, president of Veritec. “We look forward to working closely with the QuikStor team to build on this integration and identify new opportunities to deliver value to self-storage operators.”
Founded in 1987, QuikStor provides self-storage management software and security products, including door and gate keypads.
Veritec, based in Belmont, California, provides dynamic-pricing technology for self-storage operators. Its platform integrates with multiple property-management systems and is used by more than 8,000 self-storage facilities worldwide. The company also provides pricing guidance and consulting services.
The integration comes as self-storage operators increasingly turn to revenue-management technology to adjust rents and promotions in response to changing market conditions and maximize the performance of individual units.
