Fire Crews Battle RV Storage Fire in Arizona
A major fire broke out at an RV storage facility near the city of Chandler, Arizona yesterday. Fire crews arrived at Carefree Covered RV Storage at 1077 S. Kyrene Road and were able to quickly subdue the fire by dousing the RVs in water and making sure hot spots were put out.
"Gila River Fire Department and GRIC Public Safety departments, along with Mutual Aid Fire departments responded to a fire at an RV Storage on Kyrene Road (across from Lone Butte Casino). Several additional RV's caught fire. Crews currently have fire control," the Gila River Police Department said.
Chandler Fire said 10 vehicles were destroyed by the fire.
