Body Found At Michigan Storage Facility Following Fire
A fire and a dead body are both under investigation at Broadmoor Self Storage located at 4284 Broadmoor Ave SE in Kentwood, Mich. According to authorities, the fire broke out around 10:45 p.m. Thursday night. Firefighters battled the blaze for over an hour and remained on the scene afterwards to investigate possible causes for the fire, which significantly damaged several units. Police officers arrived this morning to conduct further investigation along with firefighters.
According to the Kentwood Fire Chief, this was when a body was found. The name of the person has not been released. The Kentwood Police Department is investigating this as a suspicious death.
The facility, which boasts a 5-star Google rating, also includes RV and boat parking, with features such as security cameras, a 24-hour kiosk, drive-up access, and more.
