Tenant Inc. Adds Market Intelligence, Business Insights To Hummingbird

Tenant Inc. is expanding the capabilities of its Hummingbird platform with a new Tenant Intelligence bundle designed to give self-storage operators greater visibility into market conditions, property performance and business data.

The offering brings several intelligence tools together within the existing Hummingbird platform, allowing operators to access competitive pricing information, query business data using natural-language questions and monitor key operating metrics from a centralized view.

One component provides competitor street-rate data powered by TractIQ, giving operators access to market pricing information as they make rental-rate decisions. The company said the information is designed to put competitive intelligence directly into the rate-setting workflow.

Tenant Intelligence also introduces a natural-language business query capability. Operators can ask questions about their operations in plain English and receive answers without having to navigate through multiple systems or reports.

A third component consolidates rates, occupancy, marketing and online review data into a single view, giving operators a broader picture of property performance.

Tenant Inc. is positioning the bundle as an extension of the existing Hummingbird platform rather than a separate technology implementation. The company said customers do not need to migrate data, create new logins or retrain teams to use the new capabilities.

Tenant Intelligence is being offered with a 30-day free trial. During the introductory period, Tenant Inc. customer success managers will help operators understand the tools and get started with the platform.

The expansion comes as self-storage operators increasingly turn to data and automation to manage pricing, marketing, customer interactions and day-to-day property performance. By incorporating competitive intelligence and natural-language data access into Hummingbird, Tenant Inc. is seeking to make more operational information accessible within the systems operators already use.
