StorSuite-Managed Facilities Launch Furloughed Employee Program
To assist tenants impacted by the government shutdown, StorSuite, a partnership formed between Fervent Capital, FineView Marketing, Storage Plus, Phyrem, Pinnacle Storage Managers, Pinnacle Storage Properties, and Storage Shield to provide industry marketing services, technology platforms, tenant-protection plans, third-party management services, and more, has launched a Furloughed Employee Support Program through its third-party management division.
In order to qualify for assistance, tenants renting units at StorSuite-managed facilities must provide official furlough documentation via email or in person at their facility office.
The terms of the program are as follows:
- Rent deferral will be in place until the furlough officially ends.
- Late fees will be waived from Oct. 1 until the shutdown concludes.
- Qualifying tenants can make partial payments to keep balances manageable.
- All auction processes on furloughed tenants will be paused until the government reopens.
- Balances will be due within seven days after the official end of the shutdown.
“Self-storage is often about life transitions—some planned, some unexpected,” said Christina Alvino, CEO. “During this uncertain time, we want to make sure our [tenants] know they have a partner who cares about more than rent payments. This is about being people-first.”
