Store Space Self Storage Assists Texas Hurricane Victims
Store Space Self Storage, which owns, operates and manages more than 75 properties in 21 states, has announced emergency assistance at all of its Texas locations for local residents affected by storms surrounding Hurricane Beryl.
For a limited time, the company is waiving its admin fee for new customers (normally $29.99) on top of its current new customer promotion of 50% off for up to three months, plus a free lock and 30 days of Tenant Protection coverage (a $40 value). Store Space will also waive transfer fees to current guests needing to rent a larger storage unit. Guests can also stop by the office for up to five free boxes and bottled water (while supplies last).
“We want the people of Texas to know that we stand with them during this difficult time,” said David Collins, Store Space President and COO. “We have been in the area for a long time, and we know how devastating these storms can be to the good people who live here. Having a dry and clean place to store personal possessions during clean-up or repairs is vitally important, so we want to help take some of the worry out of the mix.”
Store Space has nine locations in Texas:
- Greater Houston (3)
- San Antonio (2)
- Beaumont
- Dallas
- Glenn Heights
- Waco
Store Space has offered similar responses to previous catastrophes, including Tropical Storm Imelda, which dropped approximately 40 inches of rain in a span of just a couple of days during September of 2019, and Hurricane Laura, one of the strongest hurricanes to make landfall, in August of 2020.
