Storage Authority launches free land-review program
Storage Authority LLC has launched a free land-review program. The goal is to assist potential developers, investors, or owners who own a piece of land or vacant building determine whether self-storage would be a viable option, or if they should consider retail, warehouse, or another type of structure. Storage Authority states that the free consultation is worth $1,000 (a full industry feasibility report can cost as much as $8,000 with no guarantee that the project will be a success).
Storage Authority, which is headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, began in 2016 when self-storage veteran Marc Goodin and Garrett Byrd partnered up to develop a first-of-its kind business: self-storage franchise. Today, Storage Authority earns $39 billion a year in revenue and remains the only franchise available in the United States.
