Stockton, California Facility Plagued By Self-Storage Burglaries
Stockton, California police are investigating multiple burglaries at Storage King USA at 6800 West Lane. The burglaries were reported to police on April 29, June 11, June 16, and July 8.
One tenant whose unit was burglarized, Wendy Adams, estimates her loss to be a few thousand dollars, but the damage doesn't end there. Adams told police that a day after the theft, she believes she discovered some of her furniture on Facebook Marketplace.
Local news KCRA reached out to Storage King USA, which provided the following statement:
"We follow very strict security protocols and take the appropriate steps to ensure our 600+ customer's belongings are secure. We take appropriate security measures and have strong relationships with local law enforcement to ensure our customers have a positive storing experience."
