PTI Security Acquires UK-Based DS Security Group

Self storage technology company PTI Security Systems has acquired DS Security Group, a European PTI distributor and integrator with long-lasting customer relationships within the self storage industry. The transaction was conducted through ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, PTI’s Sweden-based parent company. 

"With DS Security Group, we get a strong distributor and integrator of PTI Security Systems in the UK and Europe, and this will enable us to grow the self storage business area into new markets," said Stephanie Ordan, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Solutions at ASSA ABLOY Group.

Regarding the acquisition, PTI's Senior Vice President and Head of Self Storage, David Shaw, commented, "DS Security Group represents an exciting new step in the development of the self storage business area. The acquisition will enable PTI Security systems to create a strong, direct to customer position, especially within subscription services.”
