PTI Launches Redesigned StorSynx App for Self-Storage Operators

PTI Security Systems, an ASSA ABLOY company, is improving the self-storage operator experience with the October 14 launch of the redesigned StorSynx app. Building on the core functionality of StorLogix Mobile, StorSynx introduces a more intuitive interface and expanded tools for facility management, device health monitoring, and remote access control in one unified mobile experience.

The launch reflects PTI’s continued commitment to offering operators greater facility control through connected, software-driven solutions that complement its industry-leading gate-to-unit security solutions portfolio. StorSynx moves PTI’s mobile tools to a modern platform designed to support continued development and expanded capabilities.

StorSynx New Features Include:

• Simplified login using existing StorLogix Cloud credentials
• A cleaner streamlined interface that makes information easier to find and actions more simple to complete
• Facility overview with visibility into cloud controller, gateway, gate and keypad status
• Remote accessway controls, including open, hold open, hold closed, and release
• Device health monitoring to help operators identify online and offline equipment remotely
• Expanded search across users, units, and devices within a facility
• Seven days of searchable event history, including alarms

PTI’s redesign was informed by internal testing and customer feedback, with an emphasis on usability and optimal operational visibility that customers increasingly need.

The new StorSynx builds on recent product releases and upgrades within PTI’s portfolio as the company continues to prioritize security, connectivity, and convenience for self-storage operators and tenants.

Customers who currently rely on StorLogix Mobile can continue to do so with confidence. The application will remain functional for the foreseeable future, allowing owners and operators to transition to the new platform at their own pace. First-time users of StorSynx can use their existing StorLogix Mobile credentials to log in. Current StorSynx users will receive the expanded functionality through an update. An in-app tutorial will guide users through the new interface and key functions.
