NYC Adopts New Regulations For Self-Storage Operators

New York City's Department of Consumer and Worker Protection has adopted new regulations governing self-storage facilities following months of industry opposition and public comment.

 

While several provisions were modified before adoption, many of the industry's central objections remain. The New York Self Storage Association says it is now considering its options.
