Moove In Self Storage Has Most Certified Self Storage Managers

YORK, Pa. Moove In Self Storage is proud to announce it employs more than 30 Certified Self Storage Managers (CSSMs) across its locations. This is substantially higher than the industry average of 1.5 and solidifies Moove In Self Storage as the industry leader in CSSMs.

The Self Storage Association’s (SSA) CSSM program is designed to give self storage managers a higher level of professionalism and understanding of a manager’s role and responsibilities. Its continuing education practices make them a more valued employee throughout the entire industry.

The program requires the completion of 15 course sessions. Participants must earn a 70% or higher on quizzes to pass each session and achieve a 70% or higher on the final exam to become certified. For the certification to remain valid, managers must complete four continuing education credits every two years. Once an official certificate has been awarded, managers are listed on the SSA Official Registry of Certified Self Storage Managers.

This program helps managers to understand the “why” factors of how the industry began, rental increases and their importance, profits and losses, expenses and accountability, curb appeal, and more.
