Massive Blaze Engulfs Fayetteville Storage Facility
Firefighters battled a large structural fire early Sunday at the Fayetteville Moving & Storage facility on Ramsey Street in North Carolina, forcing authorities to close a major stretch of roadway as crews worked to contain the blaze.
The alarm was raised just after 12:30 a.m., and multiple Fayetteville Fire Department units responded to the scene near Law Road and McArthur Road. Heavy flames were reported breaking through the roof of the commercial building, and crews remained on scene for hours as they fought the intense fire.

Officials temporarily shut all lanes of Ramsey Street between Law and McArthur while firefighting operations were underway. Firefighters worked methodically, and authorities confirmed that propane tanks on site vented safely, allowing crews to continue attacking the blaze without further hazard.
Video and social media posts shared by onlookers and local emergency-response accounts captured heavy smoke and flames, as well as the extensive response from fire units, indicating the severity of the blaze.
Fayetteville Fire Department personnel are investigating the cause of the fire, but no information has yet been released about injuries or the condition of the building’s contents. No official determination has been announced about whether the blaze originated inside the storage facility or nearby.
At this time there are no confirmed injuries reported, and the investigation continues.
