Manhattan Mini Storage Wins Gold Davey Award for Marketing Campaign
Manhattan Mini Storage has received a Gold award in the 22nd Annual Davey Awards for an integrated marketing campaign that generated more than 50 million impressions across digital, social and out-of-home channels.
The New York-based self-storage operator won in the Integrated Campaign, Promotional and Branding category for its 2025-2026 campaign, which ran from August 2025 through March 2026. The effort extended the company’s existing billboard creative, “A Storage Unit Has Never...,” across multiple platforms, including bus shelters and subway stations throughout New York City.

The campaign aimed to increase brand awareness and consideration, encourage consumers to explore storage options online, and connect prospective customers with the company’s team. Manhattan Mini Storage partnered with marketing agency True Media, which supported the campaign’s digital and social media components.
“New Yorkers have a very specific relationship with space, and this campaign was our way of speaking to that with the humor and honesty our customers expect from us,” said Sarah Little, senior vice president of marketing at Manhattan Mini Storage. “We’re proud to see that work recognized by the Davey Awards, and grateful to our team and our partners at True Media for helping us bring the campaign to life digitally.”
Emily Gass, associate account director at True Media, said the partnership enabled the companies to develop messaging tailored to New York City’s culture and reach consumers through digital and social channels.
The Davey Awards recognize creative work from smaller agencies, companies and organizations. Entries are evaluated by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts jury based on creative, technical and strategic achievement. Gold honors are reserved for entries receiving an average score of at least nine out of 10.
“Winners this season showed us that big ideas can come from teams of any size,” said Josh Campbell, general manager of the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. “Congratulations to every one of them, and a heartfelt thank you to the AIVA Jury, whose time and dedication made this celebration possible.”
The award recognizes Manhattan Mini Storage’s efforts to extend an established out-of-home advertising concept across multiple channels to reach consumers throughout the city.
