Liam Neeson Leads New Self-Storage Thriller "Cold Storage"
Liam Neeson continues to do just about whatever he wants in his career golden years. Fresh off the reboot of The Naked Gun, the Oscar-winner will star alongside Joe Keery (Stranger Things) and Georgina Campbell (Barbarian) in the movie Cold Storage.
The movie comes from David Koepp, who has helmed Mission Impossibles, Spidermans, Jurassic Parks, and other popular films. It's based on his 2019 novel of the same title.
The official movie logline is as follows:
When a highly contagious, mutating fungus escapes a sealed facility, two young employees, joined by a grizzled bioterror operative, must survive the wildest night shift ever to save humanity from extinction, as the microorganism spreads and destroys everything in its path. COLD STORAGE is an action-packed thrill ride and pure popcorn fun.
While there have been a number of horror films shot in and around self-storage facilities lately (wrestler Chris Jericho's film Self Storage is due to a streamer near you any day), this one has a higher pedigree thanks to its director and stars, even if Neeson isn't quite the box office draw he once was.
Check it out – Cold Storage looks like a gory good time, if you like that sort of thing! (trailer NSFW~language, violence).
