Devon Assumes Management of Memphis Storage Facility Near Graceland
Devon Self Storage, a member of The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc., has assumed the property management of a self-storage property in Memphis, Tenn. Located at 1215 E. Shelby Drive and owned by Global Memphis Shelby, LLC, the two-story facility is comprised of 1,146 climate-controlled units and 104,873 rentable square feet. The property also features convenient loading and unloading areas, 24-hour video surveillance and access systems, a variety of storage sizes, and is accessible via in-store or online contactless rentals.
“We’re thrilled to assume management of this Class A facility in South Memphis,” said Justin Funcell, director of third-party management for Devon. “With strong visibility, high traffic counts and growing demand, we believe this location is well positioned for long-term success. This opportunity strengthens the continued growth of our third-party management platform and Devon’s presence in the Memphis market.”
The property’s ideal location at the corner of East Shelby Drive and Elvis Presley Boulevard, just down the road from Graceland, positions it in the heart of a revitalized neighborhood and recently developed commercial corridor.
Devon currently manages 188 properties with a footprint in 31 states across the country.
