Central States Expands Product Line

Central States Inc. has expanded its Central States Sentry Door and Hallway product line with several new accessory options aimed at improving performance, automation, accessibility, and tenant comfort for self-storage facilities.

The latest additions to the Sentry lineup include ventilated doors, insulated door kits, and the EasyRoller™ 14 Door Opener. According to the company, the new products are designed to provide self-storage owners and operators with greater flexibility when customizing door systems for specific facility requirements while maintaining the durability and reliability associated with the Sentry brand.

The newly introduced ventilated door option is intended for use in enclosed areas and mechanical rooms where improved airflow is needed. The design helps reduce heat buildup and moisture accumulation, which can contribute to long-term maintenance issues.

Central States also introduced insulated door kits designed to improve thermal performance by moderating interior temperatures and reducing condensation. The company said the kits can help increase energy efficiency, improve tenant comfort, and provide additional protection for stored items in climate-sensitive environments.

The product expansion also includes the EasyRoller™ 14 Door Opener, a compact automated operator developed to integrate with Sentry roll-up doors. Powered by a 600N DC motor, the system is designed to reduce the physical effort required to open and close doors while delivering quieter and smoother operation.

According to the company, the EasyRoller 14 also incorporates soft start-and-stop technology intended to reduce wear on doors over time and extend product lifespan. Additional features include TrioCode™128 remote controls and an integrated LED courtesy light to improve visibility and secure access.

Central States said the expanded Sentry Door and Hallway system is intended to provide a more fully integrated solution for self-storage facilities by simplifying specification and installation while giving operators more control over automation, accessibility, and energy efficiency.
