Calcumate Launches Location-Aware Storage Size Guide CalcumateGEO
Calcumate, the world’s leading 3D self-storage size calculator, today announced the launch of CalcumateGEO – the first location-aware size guide for multi-store operators that gives customers real-time, store-level unit size recommendations and connects customers directly to the relevant rental or booking page.
By instantly directing users to the closest location and showing them what they need, CalcumateGEO turns multi-store size guides in to a new source of conversions and makes the online rental journey faster, more relevant, and dramatically more effective.
Created for operators with multiple locations, CalcumateGEO automatically detects a customer’s location and displays the most calculator relating to their nearest store. Users can also override the automatic detection using a dropdown menu, with locations conveniently listed by proximity to the user.
Whether by device geolocation, IP detection, or manual selection, users are routed to the calculator relevant to their desired location right from the start—transforming traditional size guides, which offer general help but leave the judgement to customers, into a precise, store-specific experience that drives conversions.
“CalcumateGEO is a natural evolution of what we already do best: helping customers make quick, confident size decisions, to then go on to rent in confidence,” said Ross Metherell, CEO of Calcumate. “Operators with multiple locations often lose leads when customers land on a generic size guide that doesn’t tell them which size they actually need, or help them to understand which available size at their preferred location will fit their items. CalcumateGEO fixes that. It’s the first tool in the industry to give store-level size recommendations in real time and take users straight through to reserve/book a unit. This is a major step forward in turning storage interest into actual rentals.”
How it works:
CalcumateGEO can be enabled in just a few steps. Operators input their store geocoordinates, choose how customer location will be determined, and deploy a smart code snippet provided by Calcumate. From there, the system handles the rest—matching users to the correct location and delivering localised calculator results instantly.
Key benefits:
• Real-time, location-aware sizing advice for multi-store operators
• One-click path to booking with location-specific accuracy
• Reduced friction and confusion for users
CalcumateGEO is available at no extra charge to paying Calcumate customers, works on any website regardless of platform and is being natively integrated by leading software providers including Storagely, Storeganise, Stora, and 6Storage.
“As part of joint beta testing, CalcumateGEO is already live on the size guide of All Purpose Storage (www.storeallpurpose.com/storage-unit-size-guide) and we’re excited to roll out CalcumateGEO to the balance of Storagely’s existing customers in the coming weeks,” said Amanda DiGaspari, Co-Founder and COO of Storagely. “It’s a perfect fit for our mission to drive innovation in the industry to help operators to grow their businesses. By instantly connecting prospective tenants to the right location and relevant size results, CalcumateGEO simplifies the rental journey and directly increases conversions. We see huge potential for our operators.”
CalcumateGEO is available at no additional cost to existing Calcumate customers. Operators can request setup from the Calcumate team, who will provide configuration support and an easy-to-install code snippet. CalcumateGEO works just like Calcumate’s standard calculators—clean, intuitive, and conversion-focused—and now intelligently localised across every store location.
