10 Federal Expands Executive Team as Automated Platform Grows
10 Federal Storage LLC, a self-storage operator with more than 131 facilities across 15 states, is expanding its executive team as it scales its automated operating platform and broadens its focus beyond self-storage.
The Raleigh, North Carolina-based company has named Geoff Hayth, president of its DaVinci Lock division, as president and chief customer experience officer. It also promoted Brian Oakley from vice president of technology to chief technology officer and hired Beau Agnello as chief operating officer.
The expanded leadership team will support 10 Federal's efforts to grow its proprietary remote-management platform, expand acquisitions and third-party management, and apply artificial intelligence and automation across a broader range of commercial real estate assets.
Hayth will continue to lead DaVinci Lock while taking responsibility for the company's end-to-end customer experience. His role will include supporting 10 Federal's growth in acquisitions and third-party management as the company expands into adjacent asset classes.
Oakley will oversee technology strategy, product development and enterprise platforms. His responsibilities will include expanding the use of AI across predictive analytics, automated access control, AI-powered audits, drone-based security and virtual agents.
The technology initiatives are designed to enhance the customer experience while lowering operating expenses and improving returns for investors.
Oakley joined 10 Federal in 2023 after leading enterprise technology strategy at Realterm during a multibillion-dollar expansion. In his new role, he will focus on scaling 10 Federal's technology infrastructure and incorporating AI capabilities throughout its operations.
Agnello will oversee operations, marketing, revenue management and the onboarding of newly acquired assets. He most recently served as chief operating officer of Go Store It Self Storage and previously held a division vice president position with Extra Space Storage Inc.
During his career, Agnello has helped scale real estate portfolios to more than 200 properties and participated in the integration of a major merger. His experience also includes investments in remote operations and contact center performance.
The executive appointments come as 10 Federal continues to expand its real estate platform. The company recently developed and opened self-storage facilities in Georgia and Texas, acquired three existing storage properties in Texas and expanded into the retail sector.
Founded in 2010, 10 Federal is a diversified real estate company with operations spanning self-storage and multifamily properties. Its self-storage portfolio of owned and managed facilities encompasses more than 3.4 million net rentable square feet.
The company's growing use of automation and remote management reflects its broader strategy of applying technology to scale real estate operations across multiple asset classes.
