Centershift Finalizes End of Life for Legacy Store 3.1 Application

After successfully migrating all customers to the flagship StoreTM Enterprise and Store Advantage platforms, Centershift announced today that the legacy STORE 3.1 application has been officially de-commissioned. This marks the end of life for the cutting-edge product that set the standard for Internet-based management applications in the self-storage industry nearly 13 years ago.

In speaking of the STORE 3.1 product’s end of life, Centershift’s President and CEO, James Hafen, stated, “Introduced in 2001, STORE 3.1 was the industry’s very first fully Internet-based management application. STORE 3.1 was revolutionary with many innovations and industry firsts, including yield management, web services for integration, centralized database and centralized mailing.
