Large Fire Breaks Out At Louisiana Storage Facility
A large fire broke out at a U-Store Self Storage facility in Shreveport, Louisiana early this morning, bringing over a dozen firefighters to the scene to contain the blaze.
The emergency was called in to the facility, located at Mansfield Road and W. 70th Street, at approximately 2:15 am with reports stating the back units had caught fire. Firefighters battled the blaze for nearly two hours before containing it.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and while 50+ units have been destroyed or damaged, no one was hurt.
