Arsonist Targets ClimaStor Self Storage in Louisiana
A ClimaStor Self Storage facility located at the corner of Perkins Road and Essen Lane in Baton Rouge, La., was intentionally set on fire, investigators say.
The back of the facility was damaged by flames Thursday evening after a pallet was set on fire and spread to the wall of the building. The Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to the fire at 5:10 p.m. and were able to quickly put it out. However, once the fire was out firefighters noticed that the fire had actually been started in multiple locations, leading them to conclude that it was a result of arson.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Unfortunately, no suspect has been identified as of this reporting.
Anyone with information that can help investigators is asked to contact the Capital Region Crime Stoppers by calling the number (225) 344-7867 or BRFD investigators by calling the number (225) 389-2050.
