2024 Northeast Storage EXPO Grows to Include Five States

The 2024 Northeast Storage EXPO will be co-hosted by three associations covering five states. Originally hosted by the Northeast Self Storage Association (NeSSA), the 2024 event has the New Hampshire Self Storage Association (NHSSA) and the Maine Self Storage Association (MeSSA) coming on as co-hosts of the largest self storage event in the northeast.

The Northeast Storage EXPO, slated to take place May 8th and 9th at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT, is a popular annual event that brings together owners, managers, vendors, and experts from the self storage industry. The event includes two days of educational sessions, an exhibit hall, networking opportunities, roundtables, and – also new this year – a social event at The Scorpion Bar.

The first joint Northeast Storage EXPO occurred in 2014 between the Connecticut Self Storage Association and the Massachusetts Self Storage Association, who have since merged with Rhode Island to form NeSSA. The expansion to officially include NHSSA and MeSSA as co-hosts comes on the joint event’s 10-year anniversary.

Executive Director Courtney J. Kahler said, “The Northeastern states have always been willing to work together when it comes to sharing ideas and building up our industry. We came together to host a virtual event in the midst of the pandemic, so the step of growing our live regional EXPO feels natural. We’ve come such a long way from just ten years ago, and I know we’re all very excited to explore how we can continue to grow and help our members and attendees.”
