Steel Storage Announces 2nd Self-Storage Expo Asia
Steel Storage Founder Jon Perrins has announced the second
Self-Storage Expo Asia, to be held in Hong Kong on March 26 and 27, 2014 at the
Renaissance Harbour View Hotel, conveniently located in Hong Kong’s prestigious Central Business District. With the growing demand for self-storage in Asia, this event will give attendees the opportunity to discuss business investments and operations with some of the leading service providers in the industry.
Sponsoring the event for the second time will be PTI Security Systems President Lance Comstock and Centerforce IT Owner Dallas Dogger, both of which have more than 25 years of experience in the self-storage industry and are distributors of SiteLink. Also sponsoring for the second year will be Chateau Products, Inc., a global merchandise company who provides self-storage facilities with high quality hardware, and Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately owned real estate firm with their market leading approach and methodology to the valuation of self-storage.
The two-day event will include experienced self-storage speakers covering a wide range of topics relating to investment, development, and operations. Featured speakers include Simone Hill, Legal Counsel for the Self Storage Association of Australasia, who has 18 years in of industry experience, is widely acknowledged as a world expert on self-storage legal issues, and holds a Masters in Self-Storage Law; and Thomas Krendl, CEO of E.I.M. Group and Vice President of SkilCheck, who has valuable expertise in management, facility operations, marketing, training, auditing and self-storage consulting.
PTI will run an information and training session on the importance of access control and security hosted by Lance Comstock and Benjamin Parsad, Manager of Sales and Technical Support of PTI Australasia. Other sessions include industry panels and a facility tour on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. A dinner will be held at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club—special thanks to Patrick O’Donnell, CEO of Links Moving, for his personal assistance with these arrangements.
The Self-Storage Expo Asia was initiated by Steel Storage’s founder, Jon Perrins. Steel Storage has been providing products and services to the Asia self-storage market since 2003.
