Cherokee Self Storage located at 408 Cherokee Dr. On Nov. 11 the Elizabethton Police Dept began a month long investigation into reports filed by several tenants at Cherokee Storage stating they found the locks cut to their storage units and property missing from their units. Herman and her husband James Allen Herman were developed as suspects on Nov. 17. The Herman’s were arrested in Johnson City on related charges in their jurisdiction. Both have been incarcerated in the Washington County Detention Center. Warrants on James Herman remain outstanding pending his transfer from Washington County Detention Center. (via Tricities.com)]]>
