After three decades in self-storage, Jefferson Shreve, founder of Bloomington, Ind.-based Storage Express, sold the remainder of his sizable portfolio to Extra Space Storage in 2022. Today, he’s a Republican candidate vying for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
