Freakonomics Podcast Focuses on Self- Storage
A new Freakonomics podcast, "The Economics of Everyday Things with Zachary Crockett" was just released, focusing on the self-storage industry. The episode takes a look at the industry's roots in the 1960s, when self-storage was more about investing in land rather than building a viable business, through its evolution into a highly valuable asset class today.
Guests featured in this episode are Zachary Dickens, executive vice president and chief investment officer of Extra Space Storage, Anne Mari DeCoster, self-storage consultant, and Kara Kolodziej, a self-storage tenant.
