Public Storage, which operates 3,533 storage facilities across the United States, is relocating its corporate headquarters from Glendale, California, to Frisco, Texas, marking a significant shift from the company’s Southern California roots.

The REIT has been headquartered in Glendale since its founding in 1972, with the Los Angeles County city serving as the executive and administrative hub for decades as the company expanded into a nationwide storage platform.

The new headquarters will be located at Hall Park in Frisco, part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The facility is expected to encompass approximately 116,000 to 119,000 square feet and will house executive leadership and corporate functions.

Company officials have indicated the move aligns with leadership changes and a broader strategic initiative focused on operational growth, innovation, and access to a deep talent pool in North Texas. Public Storage operates 3,533 storage facilities across the United States, totaling roughly 258 million rentable square feet.

The relocation places Public Storage among a growing number of major corporations establishing headquarters operations in the Dallas–Fort Worth region, a market that has attracted corporate relocations in recent years due to business climate, workforce availability, and central geographic access.
