Universal Storage Group has announced the addition of eighteen new properties to its portfolio of professionally-managed self-storage facilities in the first half of 2026.
All Self Storage has expanded, and its second facility, located in LaGrange, GA., has been added to the USG family. Under the ownership of the Boatwright family, a USG client for over 5 years, USG is delighted to be working with the Boatwrights on this new facility.
Brookhaven Storage, Powder Springs Storage, and Forest Park Storage, all located in Georgia, returned to USG management once again in January. “We are thrilled to continue to partner with Bo Brown and John Cellino on these outstanding properties in and around USG’s hometown,” said CEO AJ Ross.
All Climate Storage Centers of Dagsboro and Longneck, DE, have both joined the USG portfolio, with the Dagsboro location coming on board in February and the newly constructed Longneck facility slated to open in May 2026. USG is thrilled to be working with owner Brian Lessard, a former consulting client, across both locations. “We are excited to grow our partnership with Brian and look forward to bringing world-class management to both All Climate Storage properties in Delaware,” stated Lou Barnholdt, VP Sales and Development at USG.
Keyport Self Storage, a group of 8 stores located in Tulsa, OK, Fayetteville, AR, and Sherman, TX will roll under USG Management beginning in April of this year. Said Sarah Beth DeFazio, USG VP of Sales and Development, “The Keyport stores are in markets with strong demand fundamentals. We're thrilled to welcome Keyport Self Storage into the USG family and put our proven management strategies to work across all eight locations.”
Color Guard Self Storage of Briarcliff Manor, NY, a newly constructed facility, is slated to open in May 2026 under USG management. USG is excited to welcome owner Tim Fisher of JAM 555 Storage, LLC to the USG family. “We are looking forward to working with Tim and being a part of the Color Guard Self Storage brand from the ground up in the Briarcliff Manor market,” said Lou Barnholdt, VP Sales and Development at USG.
Silo Storage of Birmingham, AL and Holly Springs, GA, owned and developed by John Hampton of White Oak Capital, will convert to USG management in May. “John and the White Oak Capital team have been outstanding partners. Bringing two more of their facilities under USG management is a testament to the results we've delivered together, and we're ready to hit the ground running in both locations,” said Sarah Beth DeFazio, VP Sales and Development at USG.
Smart Move Storage of Hermitage, TN will also join the USG family in May 2026. “Dustin and Travis have built something impressive with Smart Move Storage, and the fact that they're entrusting us with another of their properties says a lot about the partnership we've built”, said David Dixon, Chief Operating Officer at USG.
