U-Haul® is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box® container usage at nine company facilities across western Washington to aid those affected by the Snohomish River flooding.
Residential properties within the City of Snohomish could sustain water damage, as its river is forecasted to exceed a record-breaking level of 33 feet by Thursday. Snohomish declared a state of emergency following flooding that already occurred.
Access to dry and secure self-storage units and portable storage containers can assist communities during the clean-up and recovery process following natural disasters.
The 30 days free offer applies to new self-storage and U-Box rentals and is based on availability at each Company-owned and -operated location. The U-Box portable container offer is for on-site storage at Company facilities; U-Box delivery is available for a modest fee.
