StoreEase Launches AI Voice Agent to Automate Customer Calls

StoreEase has introduced a new AI Voice Agent within its EaseOS platform, expanding its suite of automation tools for self-storage operators with a voice-based solution designed to improve customer service, increase lead capture, and streamline facility operations.

The launch comes as self-storage operators continue to grapple with high call volumes, staffing challenges, and fragmented technology systems that can lead to missed rental opportunities, extended hold times, and inconsistent customer experiences.

According to StoreEase, the AI Voice Agent is purpose-built for the self-storage industry and is designed to answer customer calls around the clock, resolve common inquiries, and route more complex requests to the appropriate personnel.

Early deployments of the platform have produced encouraging results, the company said. StoreEase reported that the AI system answers 100% of calls 24/7, captures 2.1 times more sales leads than traditional interactive voice response (IVR) systems, and resolves more than 65% of non-sales calls without human intervention.

The company expects the percentage of calls handled entirely by AI to increase over time, reducing the need for staff involvement while maintaining customer service standards.

Focus on Lead Capture and Revenue Growth

A key feature of the platform is its ability to identify and preserve rental opportunities throughout the customer journey.

When prospective renters contact a facility, the AI Voice Agent can recognize sales inquiries and route them to the appropriate team members. Before a human agent even joins the conversation, the system automatically captures lead information and creates a corresponding record within the operator's property management system, helping ensure that potential customers are not lost during the sales process.

The platform also supports fully automated rentals outside of normal business hours, enabling customers to reserve and rent units whenever it is most convenient. StoreEase said this capability allows operators to extend rental availability beyond traditional schedules and generate additional revenue opportunities.

Replacing Traditional IVR Systems

StoreEase positions the AI Voice Agent as an alternative to conventional IVR systems, which often rely on customers navigating multiple menu options before reaching the correct department.

Using contextual understanding, the AI system determines the purpose of each call and routes it accordingly. The company reports routing accuracy of 98%, helping ensure that sales inquiries reach the appropriate personnel while service-related requests are addressed efficiently.

StoreEase said the skills-based routing approach can improve response times, increase conversion rates, and deliver a more seamless customer experience.

Built for Self-Storage Operations

Unlike general-purpose call center automation tools, the AI Voice Agent was developed specifically for self-storage workflows and integrates directly with facility management software and operational processes.

The company said the technology is designed to work alongside onsite teams rather than replace them, handling routine interactions while allowing staff to focus on higher-value customer engagements.

“This is the most advanced AI voice agent ever built for the self-storage industry,” said Josh Boyd, founder and CEO of StoreEase. “The true measure of AI is not just customer satisfaction, but what the system is able to accomplish. Because our platform is built as a complete operating environment covering every channel, we can measure the entire customer journey end to end. That visibility allows us to continuously optimize performance, capture more rental opportunities, and deliver one of the most effective AI-driven workflows in the industry.”

The launch further reflects the growing adoption of artificial intelligence across the self-storage sector, where operators are increasingly investing in technologies that automate customer interactions, improve operational efficiency, and support revenue growth.
