The Self Storage Association Asia (SSAA) recognized leading self-storage operators, suppliers and industry professionals during its annual awards program, announcing winners across 12 categories at a gala dinner held May 20 at The Okura Prestige Bangkok during Self Storage Expo Asia 2026.
According to the association, this year’s awards highlighted the continued maturation of the self-storage sector across Asia, with companies demonstrating advancements in customer experience, technology adoption, environmental responsibility, corporate governance and business growth. Winners were selected by a panel of judges representing the self-storage and investment sectors from Asia, Europe and the United States.
An overall winner was selected in each category, along with top-performing entries from individual regions.
Among the most prestigious honors, Yoshika Suzuki of Arealink Co. Ltd. was named Overall CEO of the Year, while Thailand’s Phimphat Wongpanya (Lin) of i-Store Self Storage earned the Overall Manager of the Year award.
StorHub captured the Overall Multi-Site Store Operator of the Year title, while Hong Kong-based RedBox Storage received the Overall Creative and Effective Marketing Award. In the technology category, Vietnam’s MyStorage Vietnam was recognized as the Overall Technology and Innovation Award winner.

“The 2026 winners represent the strength, innovation and professionalism now shaping the self-storage industry across Asia,” said SSAA Executive Director Andrew Work. “From customer service and technology to [environmental, social and governance], leadership and business growth, this year’s award entries show how operators and suppliers are raising standards and building greater trust with consumers, investors and governments.”
Regional winners were also recognized from Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, Jordan, La Réunion, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates, reflecting the geographic diversity and growth of the self-storage sector throughout the Asia-Pacific region and adjacent emerging markets.
Founded in 2014, SSAA serves self-storage owners, operators and industry stakeholders across Asia, providing advocacy, education, market intelligence, research, training and networking opportunities aimed at supporting the industry's development.
The awards were presented as part of Self Storage Expo Asia 2026, one of the region’s largest gatherings of self-storage professionals.
