Cameron Barsanti, CEO and founder of StorageLife, will be featured this season of the TV docu-series Legacy Makers. The episode follows Barsanti’s rise from a broke, unemployed Hollywood actor to a self-storage entrepreneur who has acquired $66+ million in assets across eight states and the U.S. Territory of Guam.
Legacy Makers is a cinematic series that profiles entrepreneurs and change-makers by tracing their personal and professional arcs. Hosted by Rudy Mawer, the show has featured notable names such as Carmen Electra and Floyd Mayweather.
In his episode, Barsanti takes viewers through his journey of building a self-storage enterprise. After a decade of setbacks and only minimal TV and film residual checks, he chose to chart a new path. At 35, with a wife and young children depending on him, he committed to real estate investing.
“We had zero savings in the bank, so we pulled $90K out of our house and bought an off-market triplex,” Barsanti explains. “That led us to an 11-unit apartment building, and eventually to finding a bank-owned self-storage facility. That's when everything changed.”
In just four and a half years, the couple acquired more than $66 million in self-storage assets spanning 17 facilities in multiple states. They’ve sold six properties with significant profits, realized multi-million-dollar returns, and built a team of 15+ employees.“
