NationWide Self Storage is expanding its Business Storage Advantage program to more unit sizes, including larger storage units, at locations in Vancouver, Burnaby/East Vancouver, South Surrey and Kamloops, British Columbia.
The program is designed to provide businesses with flexible storage space while reducing initial and ongoing occupancy costs. Under the expanded offering, qualifying businesses receive their first four weeks of storage free and 10% off ongoing rent.
Select units and locations also may include a $100 in-store credit toward moving and storage supplies.
"Businesses don't just need storage for a month or two. Many need flexible space they can rely on throughout the year," said Mr. Ayaaz Jamal, Chief Operating Officer of NationWide Self Storage. "Business Storage Advantage was designed with that in mind. The first month free helps businesses get started, while the 10% ongoing rental discount continues delivering savings for as long as they qualify for the program."
Program Adds More Large Units
The expansion increases the number of NationWide units available through Business Storage Advantage, with a greater emphasis on larger spaces that can accommodate commercial storage needs.
The company said larger units can be used for inventory, equipment, tools, supplies, records, seasonal merchandise and e-commerce fulfillment, among other business applications. The additional space can provide an alternative to leasing traditional commercial space, particularly for businesses whose space requirements fluctuate.
The program is aimed at contractors, tradespeople, sales representatives, e-commerce companies, professional services firms, retailers and other growing businesses seeking additional space without a long-term commercial lease.
"Commercial space is expensive, and a business's space requirements can change quickly," added Mr. Jamal. "Self storage can give businesses the ability to add space when they need it without taking on another traditional commercial lease."

The expanded Business Storage Advantage program is available on qualifying units at four NationWide locations:

Ongoing Savings
Unlike a promotion limited to the initial rental period, the 10% Business Storage Advantage discount continues for qualifying businesses, according to NationWide.
The company said the combination of four weeks free, ongoing rent savings and, on select units, a $100 moving-supplies credit is intended to help businesses manage storage costs while maintaining flexibility as their space requirements change.
