StoreEase has announced the integration of its EaseOS platform with Self Storage Manager (SSM), giving self-storage operators access to a new customer engagement and automation platform designed to enhance communication, streamline operations, and improve tenant interactions across multiple channels.
According to StoreEase, EaseOS was developed to complement property management systems like SSM by serving as a customer engagement and automation layer that works alongside a facility’s existing system of record. The platform is designed to help operators improve lead capture, automate service requests, and manage customer communications more efficiently.
The integration allows tenant data, lease information, unit details, and facility context from SSM to flow directly into EaseOS, enabling staff and automated systems to handle calls, texts, web chats, and in-person interactions with full operational visibility.
One component of the platform, Ease Connect, combines phone calls, text messaging, and web communications into a single interface. The system includes AI-powered call routing designed to direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member more quickly than traditional phone menu systems. Ease Connect also includes task management tools, automated follow-up workflows, and AI-driven call scoring across an operator’s portfolio.
StoreEase said the platform’s AI Voice feature functions as a conversational voice assistant capable of answering tenant and prospect inquiries around the clock. The system can automatically create leads in SSM, provide payment and account information, deliver rental links, assist with autopay updates, and identify overlocked tenants while initiating resolution workflows. If a situation requires human support, staff members can take over the interaction through Ease Connect with full customer context already available.
The company also introduced Ease Web Assistant, an AI-powered web chat system built specifically for self-storage websites. The assistant is designed to answer questions about pricing, availability, promotions, and unit sizes while guiding customers through the rental process. It can also help tenants make payments, update payment methods, enroll in autopay, and submit move-out requests without contacting the office directly.
Another component, Ease Virtual Console, supports hybrid facility operations through a self-service kiosk that connects customers to remote managers via live video. The console can automatically greet customers, extend office coverage during lunch breaks or after-hours periods, and support multiple facilities through centralized staffing. StoreEase said all interactions are tracked and reportable across locations.
With the new integration, SSM users can add AI-driven communications, voice automation, web conversion tools, and hybrid management capabilities without replacing their existing property management software.
StoreEase said the integration is intended to help operators modernize customer engagement while improving efficiency across daily operations. Additional information about EaseOS is available at EaseOS, while more information about Self Storage Manager can be found at Self Storage Manager.
