The California Self Storage Association (CSSA) has retained Platinum Advisors, a leading California government relations firm, to represent the association in Sacramento.
Platinum Advisors brings deep experience navigating California’s legislative and regulatory environment and will support CSSA’s advocacy efforts before the Legislature, the Newsom Administration, and key state agencies on issues impacting self-storage owners and operators statewide.
Platinum Advisors is a California-based government relations and public affairs firm with extensive experience representing regulated industries before the Legislature, the Governor’s Office, and state agencies. The firm is known for its strategic approach to complex policy issues, coalition-building, and hands-on engagement with policymakers, with a strong track record in consumer protection, regulatory, and business-focused legislative matters.
Primary representation for CSSA will be led by:
Barnett and Miller will work closely with CSSA leadership to monitor legislation, engage policymakers, and advance a proactive strategy to protect the self-storage industry. They will also work closely with industry partners including Self Storage Association, the CA Business Properties Association, and the CA Business Roundtable, among others.
CSSA will continue our productive working relationship with SSA and their lobbyist, Naomi Padron of MKP Government Relations. In addition, we will continue collaborating with CA Business Roundtable, CA Business Properties Association, and lobbyists with REITs and other large CSSA members who employe lobbyists to protect this industry.
