This March, rolling sheet door manufacturer DBCI announced a revolutionary new door product called Curl-Lok. The new Curl-lok door is constructed out of replacable panels with engineered curls along the edges that lock into place instead of seam together, making it the first self-storage door that can be quickly repaired on site without any specialty tools.

Larry Miller, “In the past, the only options for a damaged door was to either live with it or replace the entire thing. Now damaged panels can be changed out at significantly less cost.”
The advantages of Curl-Lok doesn’t end with the door itself. Shipping panels for repair work instead of an entire new door will reduce associated freight costs and increase delivery speed. DBCI also expects many locations will keep replacement panels on-site to keep unuseable units to a minimum.
